Upstream mobile installation reference

This page describes the separate Cherry Studio mobile app. Its store pages and packages belong to the upstream project; they are not BLACK HOLE mobile downloads. Our releases are available through the BLACK HOLE download page.

Android

The upstream store link is Cherry Studio on Google Play. Check the app name, developer, device requirements, and regional availability before following the store’s installation steps.

For an APK, use the Cherry Studio mobile download page and check the architecture and version requirements of its available package. Follow Android’s installation prompts; permission for your browser or file manager to install APKs can be revoked afterwards.

iPhone and iPad

The upstream store link is Cherry Studio on the App Store. Consult the current listing for OS requirements, supported devices, and regional availability.

If the upstream download page offers a TestFlight invitation, install Apple’s TestFlight and follow that invitation. Test availability, capacity, and build expiry depend on its actual status.

After installation

For the upstream app, continue with this section’s quick start. These steps do not establish compatibility between that mobile client and BLACK HOLE accounts, device pairing, or desktop features.
